And so I give to you the latest in fashion.
One of these people has a real beard and the other is wearing the new Paper Beard. Can you tell which?

Paper Beard: it's a beard made of paper.

Ah, don't we all wish something like this was in mass production? The story behind this one is pretty simple. Ashley said at some point I should make a beard, and I said Peter (my buddy on the right there) has a beard and tomorrow is Peter. BLAMMO. I've got a project.
I find this picture here rather disturbing, and yet I can't stop staring at it. Thus is the magnificence of the Paper Beard.
This was created with rolled up magazine pages (from Harpers, if you're interested) stuck to double-sided tape the other side of which was stuck to a bit of black plastic bag. It took much longer to rip the pages out and roll them up than to stick them onto the bag and wrap it on my face.
Another confession: I haven't been restricting myself to a single sheet of paper. This actually never struck me as important to the project, despite the fact that I titled it 30 Days, 30 Pieces of Paper and said I have to use one piece of paper a day. The point I intended to get across was to see if I could manage to come with projects utilizing paper, not if I could manage to do something with a single sheet. So if anyone besides my nit-picky sister has been thinking to themselves, "How is she doing that with only one piece of paper?", I'm not. But I feel this is ok. If there is an outcry to the contrary, I shall perhaps reconsider this decision.
[Insert some allusion to tomorrow's project being Eileen without mentioning Dexys Midnight Runners]
