I have an Uncle Bob, and in school (college? high school?) I wrote a story about him called Short, Round, and Simple. Round, bulbous things and the letter B then made me think of "baby beluga" which my friend/coworker Kim was singing at me after she read an article I told her about. It's actually a horribly depressing article about a whale who has no mate because he sings too high and doesn't swim where the others swim. So he just wanders around singing to himself.
Thus, this is Bob.Bob is the lonely whale. Only now he's not alone. I've given Bob a mate with whom he can wander forever singing in whatever pitch he wants.
This is admittedly more cuteness than I am generally capable/a fan of. However, as my friend Kim inspired my creation of Bob, and because I made it with the idea of giving it to her, and because she is a creature of cuteness (herself rather adorable), I felt it was appropriate.
First day of project down.
Tomorrow: hello Isaac.

The Donna is like that whale...I mean the high pitched singing that drives everyone else away.
